Why you need to clean your water tanks?
Normally municipal supplied water is treated and then distributed. However, this water gets contaminated post-treatment due to the long transmission through very old underground pipelines that run parallel to drain lines, etc. The problem is microbiologically unfit water, which gets even worse when it is stored in dirty/uncleaned underground and overhead tanks.
The dirty or unclean water tank can act as the breeding ground for microorganisms and other disease-causing microorganisms making your water tank’s environment susceptible to being contaminated. Moreover, dirt, mould and silt deposits tend to accumulate in your water tank, making the water unfit not only for consumption but also for daily use. Contaminated water can lead to illnesses such as Diarrhoea, Cholera, Typhoid, etc.
The simple act of cleaning your water tank may assist in protecting your family/workers from such water-borne diseases.
